River Devon Fishing and Quey Reservoir. The Devon Angling Association have managed fishings on the River Devon since 1902. The river is a spate river, a tributary of the Forth, having runs of sea trout and salmon mostly from August to October with the main runs of salmon generally later in the year depending on the rainfall. Salmon runs comprise mostly of smaller fish in the 4 - 6lb range though large double figure fish up to 18lbs fish are not unknown. The River is VERY low at prese.
